Today John & I went to BAVO to complete the bid for a grant to obtain tools, audio visual equipment and instruments to forward our Shed activities. We are not an industrial unit like Squirrel's Nest, we simply don't have that capacity, or skill at the moment, to take on large woodworking projects.

We decided that the idea of helping the community, extending to a sort of handyman role, an idea from Pete, was the best way forward. To obtain a good array of portable electric and hand woodworking tools with a mixture of mechanical tools to maintain and repair, rather than full scale manufacture.

We can of course still make things like raised beds for the garden , small work benches and other small projects.
